This yesterday appeared on the Sampraday sun regarding Bhaktivedanta Manor:

An Open Letter to the GBC

    BY: ANANTA DAS

    Dec 14, SCOTLAND (SUN) —

Dear GBC, please look into the following deviations at Bhaktivedanta Manor:

    1. Hindu weddings held in front of the Deities at the Manor.

    2. Giving brahmin initiation to meat eating Hindu's, just for donation.

    3. Blessing of cars.

    4. Spending 2 million pounds on a Hindu school.

    5. Spending our laxmi on a large property, Bucklands Hall, and opening a pub inside so people having functions (weddings, etc) can have a good choice of alcohol.

    6. Ignoring the child protection policies on Gauri das and keeping him as Temple President, full salary and perks.

    Your servant,
    Ananta das

Can anyone confirm the second accusation here? That sounds very shocking to me.

I think number 6 may be a misnomer, i was told there is no temple president, instead they have a 'rotating chair'.

Indeed. Would be good to know who is a guru that bestows such initiations.
    Thankful People: Haridas

It's not my intention to be making accusations against people, I simply wish to determine facts, and not be left in the dark. My understanding on no.3 was that this was a mistaken case of a pujari installing deities in someone's car, rather than performing the infamous 'car puja'. That is provided we are talking of the same incident. If anyone knows Ananta Das, I would greatly appreciate his input.

On Pamho I've seen at least two 'ads' for a new Manor TP.
