Whenever it is time to vaccinate my children I tend to procrastinate and put it off as long as I can. The reason? So much conflicting and confusing information out there... On top of that I have just found out that most vaccines are egg protein-based. I would hate to inject my children with products of dead animals (or future-to-be animals). I was looking for alternatives, and found it mentioned somewhere in Internet debris that single doses of vaccines are not based on egg protein. Of course to make it all "easier" for me they are not available in New Zealand... Truthfully, I am almost seeking for a philosophical excuse to vaccinate my child and get it over with. But I would love to hear and consider what other devotee parents think. So please, your input is welcome!

i have never vaccinated my two children.
I can give you info about why I have opted for non-vaccination.
Keep in mind that is a personal choice, cause you never know if it is going to be one of the damaged recipients (there exist associations of that) or one of the "saved" ones. So you have to gather info and make your choice.

I agree with Mishra. I haven't vaccinated my kids based on the information I was given. Still i'd recommend doing your own research and making your own decision, as frustrating as that may sound.

Still - lots of devotee parents just get the vaccinations - that's their choice.

I'm not sure if this sort of decision can be hinged on any theological premise ... just one of those parenting decision things.

There are many associations of people that got ill or died from vaccine, google it please I do not have the links at hand.

The risk of becoming ill or die by vaccination is often greater than the illness natural risk itself.

They base their approach on the belief that you get a virus by chance or bad luck not that the cause of illness is poor immune system.

Generally you introduce some virus via bloodstream, not the natural way they use to get in anyway.

There are no serious scientific studies on the validity of vaccination, in fact there are studies linking vaccination with the opposite, epidemics after some time of mass vaccination.

If there is an outbreak, medical authorities usually do not recommend mass vaccination, cause they know side effect could be mass epidemy. For that just check the news.

India has an official homeopathic approach to epidemics that has been successful so far.

That is what comes to my mind now, more later...

What about autism caused by the mercury in vaccinations? That is a big topic. Many parents are saying autism in their children was caused by vaccinations. That is really scary. But personally I see a lot more autistic kids than a few years ago.

the success attributed to vaccine in the last hundred years could be due to acquired hygienic practices like bathing oneself regularly :).
