prabhupad however has to leave his home to take up vanaprastha ashrama at age 50Yrs
so what is the need for the lila when he was detached from the beginning ???

I do not think Prabhupada ever approved looking at Radharani De as some sort of lila figure. He never ever considered his life to be a lila. Prabhupada himself explained it:

So I never thought that I will have to take up this matter by his order. Because it is... This incident took place in 1922, more than fifty years. So anyway, so I was officially initiated in 1933, just before three years of his passing away from this mortal world. So at the last moment also, just a fortnight before his passing away, he wrote me the same thing. I wrote him one letter and just he replied the same thing that "You should try to preach this gospel amongst the persons who are conversant in English language. That will be very nice for you." So I was dreaming sometimes that my Guru Maharaja is calling me and I am leaving my home and going behind him. I was dreaming like that, and I was thinking, "Oh, I have to give up my home? My Guru Maharaja wants me to give up my home life and take sannyasa?" So I was thinking, "It is horrible. How can I leave my home?" This is called maya. Of course, it's a long story, but incidentally I am speaking to you because you are my dear children. So I was thinking that "How can I take sannyasa and leave my home, my children?" So that was a horrible thought for me, I tell you. I was thinking seriously, "Oh, I will have to take this course. Guru Maharaja wants me." But actually I did not like to give up my home life. But Guru Maharaja made me obliged to give up my home life. So now, by his order, or by his plan, I gave up my home life, I gave up a few children, but Guru Maharaja is so kind that has given me so many nice children.

You post again and again starting from assumptions that you apparently believe no matter what anyone says. You are just convening your opinion that Srila Prabhupada is a regular human being, conditioned soul.

But your "questioning" is not leading you to any nice place or conclusion. I even suspect you are a christian trying to discredit Srila Prabhupada. Otherwise why so many same type questions?

If you do think Srila Prabhupada is not a pure devotee, fine. But go and practice your believes instead of trying to discredit others. That is not even polite what to speak of religious or spiritual.

In this way none of us will be wasting valuable time.

It takes the participation of BOTH sides for such a transformation to take place. Even Lord Krsna does not change people who refuse to embrace God consciousness. We are all blessed with FREE WILL.

Perhaps his wife was much more of a devotee than many who visit this forum? And who knows what influence Srila Prabhupada had on her? It is hard to judge people we do not know. Appearances can be deceiving.

At this point, we can only speculate, but the relationship between a husband and a wife can be very complex and I think this is something to keep in mind.[br][br]I can think of some psychological explanations for a wife's seemingly unruly behavior.[br]

[br]Some wives, for example, are very much in love with their husbands, to the point of being ashamed or embarrassed at themselves. So in order to regain a sense of balance and self-esteem, they resort to what looks like rebellious behaviors (be that drinking tea, wearing clothes that the husband doesn't like, spending time with people that the husband doesn't approve of, or any number of things).[br][br]
Bottomline, at this point, we can only speculate. I do not think that the relationship a husband has with his wife is comparable to the relationship that a guru has with his (potential) students, so I don't think that the OP question applies.
