    Often when its near the the Sunday the Janmastami is celebrated on a particular Sunday that is nearest, that is a practice in some temples.

    What you think? Sounds good if you are working.. but can you really move it?

    even if you work , you should be able to spare some special time, anything from 9 to 12 pm to visit the temple. If not, then you are too far away anyway. I have seen that done to accommodate working hindu community, but then, what is the the message? You are more important than Krishna?

    Totally agree. We should not "reschedule" holy days because we consider the day or date to be inconvienent for us. Even Christians don't do this!

    It is like when you move your birthday to days before. People may come and give you presents but the real day of your birthday you feel sad because there is not party even if you had one 2 days ago.
