    I know Krishna is older but how much?

    My understanding is that Radha is older by several years. Lord Krishna sends His eternal associates to the material world before His appearance.

    What about the pastime that Radha was born blind until Krishna came to see Her at Raval?
    My father told me the story.

    I have been trying to find where I heard She is older but can't. So my memory could be fooling me - again :)

    I heard quite the opposite, can't give any shastric reference though. I also heard the story about Sri Radha not willing to open Her eyes till the time She met Krishna. The story was told by HH Jayapataka Maharaja at Varshana. According to the version he told They both were babies at that time, and Krishna crawled up to Radha, then She opened Her eyes.

    He [Balarama] is sixteen years old and full of the luster of youth. He is Sri Krsna's dearest friend. He is a great reservoir of the nectar mellows of many kinds of transcendental pastimes. (Rupa Gosvami, Radha-Krsna ganoddesa dipika 2.72)

    Srimati Radharani is fifteen years old and full of the luster of youth. (2.167)

    Interestingly, Krsna's age is not stated there.

    Because of having too much fun being the vraja-raja-kumara, Krsna extended His lila in Vrndavana half again the number of years He already lived there (10 years, 6 months, 5 days), making His age 15 years, 9 months, 7 1/2 days. Sri Nandanandana eternally sports in Vraja (near the end of kaisora’s 16 years) as a kisora-gopa.

    Sri Radha’s age is in the middle of the kaisora period. Just as previously, Krsna’s age was increased by half again, so Radha’s age is increased to 14 years, 2 months and 15 days. (SGGSP)
