It is sometimes difficult to stay in the same house with meat eating members of a family. If such is your position, how do you deal with it?
My stubborn sisters still feed my mother aged 90 with meat!

Bring your mother prasadam whenever you can and pray for her. You are helping her in her next life by being a devotee.

Find out what she likes (offerable) and give her as prasadam. You are doing two things, pleasing her and making her spiritually advance.

Another hint is if you respect their choice of meat eating, you have the moral power and command to make them respect yours.

The problem is that she agrees to be veg,but these sisters keep giving her meat!
So I sometimes get very angry at them.....

at least try her to avoid beef and the like. If she is convinced she can refuse, if she is not so sure or committed, focus on giving her prasadam as much as possible. It will act as the ink and the milk example; at one point SHE will refuse to eat meat.

If your mother does not want to eat meat then it appears disrespectful for your sister's to force her to do this. Does your mother feel she needs to eat whatever your sister's put in front of her in order not to appear rude?

If this is the case then some open communication between all involved party's is much needed.

The old woman is like a child now,and does not require much food:she says she wants to be veg,as she likes me.She led a good life of sacrifice for her children, very caring and loving, but christian church has brain-contaminated them into such demonic eating habits, and the sisters are fanatical -and blind-practitioners of christianity. They think Jesus will wait for them in paradise, after a lifetime of eating cows and other animals.
I wonder if a tulsi plant at her house will help-she loves flowers-but is it a offense to have such a plant in a meat-eater's house?

    To Hari Bhakta dasa

'if your mother does not want to eat meat then it appears disrespectful for your sister's to force her to do this. Does your mother feel she needs to eat whatever your sister's put in front of her in order not to appear rude?"

She's obedient to their way of life, does not fight for her opinions,is rather senile with memory trouble, but the sisters are knowingly commiting such sins,as I showed them-to my mother also- slaughterhouses on Youtube! I feel very angry to the church leaders!

Is anyone on this forum in the same situation...or all your families veg?

Tulasi devi cannot be contaminated in any way as she is pure devotee, the problem will be for you if She is uncared for. Do not think giving your relative occasionally prasadam it is not powerful, you could be surprised of her next body destination if she does so.
