The idea of the forum is to let devotees around the world help and be helped, so the following humble advice can be given:

    1. Keep the posts short.

    2. Do not use the forum for endless debates, just post your contribution and let everyone use it (or not).

    3. Institutional propaganda or own master glorification not needed (keep in mind there are vaishnavas of many denominations visiting the site.

    4. Put your signatures, websites, etc only in your profile area, for the sake of maximum readability

    5. Use the "thank you" button to thumbs up or apreciate a post, saving your time and giving the poster credit in their profile

If you still have a question we will be glad to assist you via email ---> pariprashnena [at] gmail [dot] com

Suggestion subjected upon your personal judgement and convenience:

Try to upload some photo and fill a bit your profile to make the forum a more pleasurable and personal experience for all.

We are working on a private message service, so that off-forum relationships can also be developed, and devotees get to know each other better.

In 10 days we have reached 100 questions and over 1.000 comments, and with little or no propaganda from the big sites.

It seems that word of mouth mainly is what is spreading this service, please keep on telling your friends.

More than ever that topic "without you couldn't be possible" is applicable here.

Just a heartfelt big THANK YOU to all users!!!

Please use this forum as a humble question and answer facility (pariprashnena). No censorship on (related) themes or comments.

But, if we see someone using the forum as a way to advance or impose own agenda on others we will act. Same goes for personal evaluations that cover no purpose.

    Thank you.
    Thankful People: sitapati, Servant Krsna

there is concern in our pariprashnena community that some issues are sensitive and freedom of speech can cause suffering to some.
As these posts are categorized mainly under "Social", you can avoid seeing those posts or any unwanted category in the following way:
Just go to Categories tab and block Social category. You will not see any of the posts there. Of course, you can block/unblock categories anytime you wish.

Tulsiananda and govindas108, you are repeatedly hammering the same theme at any opportunity. If you have a cause to advance we recommend you open your own website and make your theme available to the world. Otherwise Pariprashnena becomes a political means, not a questions and answer medium. Your questions aimed at advancing your position will be deleted. Please stick to the rules and stop making this site your "preaching" field.

we have banned govindas108 and Tulsiananda for violating the above even after being warned. Not a thing that causes us pleasure but clearly needed for the well being of the forum.

Some users insist on "asking" questions to provoke a response to advance their mission whatever it may be.
When admins delete them they get upset and accuse us of narrow minded, biased or God knows what else.
Please understand we have delimited this site for questions that you do not know the answer in the spirit of pariprashnena.
Any effort to advance a mission is not condemned but has its own place on the net.
Hope this helps further clarify what is stated in the terms of service.

We believe in the good intentions of all Vaishnavas and we wish to part the year unbanning the users that did not abide by the terms of service.

It has been a good learning year for all of us and we trust users understand the single purpose of this site, beyond parties and politics:

"To ask a question you do not know the answer"

Please receive our best spiritual wishes for the coming year, Hare Krishna!

All glories to Srila Prabhupada and the sankirtan movement!

for all Vaishnavas pleasure, two very nice quotes to continue the respectful attitude at pariprashnena:

SB 11.28.1: The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: One should neither praise nor criticize the conditioned nature and activities of other persons. Rather, one should see this world as simply the combination of material nature and the enjoying souls, all based on the one Absolute Truth.

SB 11.28.2: Whoever indulges in praising or criticizing the qualities and behavior of others will quickly become deviated from his own best interest by his entanglement in illusory dualities.
