I heard that some devotees take their diska beads and chant with some other plain beads at the same time and that these plain beads become as good as diksa beads.
Is this true or just some speculation? -
I have heard that some devotees have two sets of beads: one for proper chanting, and another for when they are traveling (to keep the diksa beads safe and clean).
