Lets be honest and hear if one really enjoys it or not. Any open minds out there?

How can there be enjoyment in gossip ? Maybe it was the way i was reared, my mother never engaging in gossip of any kind and avoiding hearing it as far as possible. I have allowed it in dealing with my mundane siblings bbut recently have been looking at it all quite differently. But i can honestly say for me there is no enjoyment in gossip. BUT, i have noticed in myself that if a sibling who has been so opposed to me, my life and choices ( and most strongly against my "religion" all this time) come into difficulty, a strange one-up-man attitude. Srila Bhaktivenoda Thakur ( if memory serves ) writes about this in one song of his Saranagati.... I just tried to quickly find it but could not.. But to my memory, it was about "taking pleasure in others' unhappiness"... Well, i have gotten off topic and apologise. Hare Krsna !

No, not really. I find it causes pain to the heart.
