Sadhana: How was your nirjal ekadasi?

hard, easy?
did you do nirjal or ate some fruit?

for me it was easy the whole day until i tried to go to sleep with an empty stomach. i listened to maaany lectures yersterday night...

We don't practice corporal mortification, do we? Ekadashi vrata is supposed to please Vishnu, not to torture your body. If it turns into torturing yourself, why do it? Does Vishnu get pleased if a bhakta has a headache? I chose that my God was not a God of ascetics, but a tender Lord who likes when I remember Him. (When I have a headache I remember my headache only).
