Radha Krishna´s height about 6 meters??

Dear Prabhujis,
I hear from various devotees that when Lord Krishna was present in the planet His height was more than 6 meters, and Radharani about 5 meters.
Is this true?
I dont have any problem beliving that Krishna married 16.108 wiwes and have the same number of palaces. But I have problems beliving this gigantic size for wonderful Lord Krishna.
Any shastrics proof? quotes?

in previous yugas people were taller but this was not so long time ago so i wonder why they were so big.

On Govardhan there is Krishna's large-sized footprint in stone.

My devotee friend read in Mahabharata about the length of bows used and from this calculated that Arjuna's height was about 5,5 meters. Krishna was supposed to be shorter.
Also, the standard 1 000-years Dvapara-yuga age gradually turns into 100 years and less in Kali-yuga. This change can be seen from the ages of Biblical patriarchs before and after Flood.
As far as archeology remains, there are many but most are rejected or destroyed by establishment scientists to keep the status quo.

I have seen Krishna's footprints in Vrindavana. They are like the size of Shakeel O'neil (The basketball player) and Krishna was younger than 10-11 years. So when he grew up his height could be what we are talking about.
The scriptures say that ine ach yuga everything becomes ten times less - the age, the height etc.
Ramayan explains that the main gates of Ayodhya were 280 ft tall. Why do we need 280 ft tall gates to let a 7 ft person pass through? So to say Lord Rama was 6 mtrs high may not be true. -

srimad bhagavat also says that in kali human will become shorter in height,less lives etc... -
"As His inconceivable spiritual energy is all-extending, still He maintains His all-charming medium size by His qualifying spiritual instrumentals." (http://vedabase.net/bs/5/1/en) It's hard to say exactly what "medium size" is. One may just as well ask what is His waist size, but who can rightly say?

easy, just look at his footprints in Vraja and you will get his approx. height.
However Brhad-aranyaka Upanisad (3.4.4) explains:
asthulam ananv ahrasvam
"The Supreme Personality of Godhead is neither subtle, nor gross, nor short, nor tall."
and in (3.8.8) it is said:
etad vai tad aksaram gargi brahmana abhivadanty asthulam anava-hrasvam
"O Gargi, the brahmanas say that the Supreme Personality of Godhead is neither great nor small, tall nor short."
Of course for a particular purpose or lila he can assume any particular size with his non material body.
However size of Govardhana is described in Garga samhita (and it is smaller now...) -
This stick could be a 'prop' stick used when He played His venu. But not really 6 meters.
BTW its amazing how little if any mention in any books of His height. I guess He must be seen as all sizes and in every temple He is 'correct' size - actual absolute size.
There is no evidence that I know to suggest He was 6m. -
I'm a Muslim brother. I'm also interested in this issue. I was told my friend that lord Rama was very tall. But, his arguments were not convincing for me. Is there any verses in Ramayana which suggests such a huge size of lord Rama?
Please help me. My conscience doesn't allow me to believe that lord Krishna's and Rama's foot prints are preserved after such along time. Near my place there is a Muslim mosque where they have preserved such a big footprint mask, and what is written there is " footprint of prophet Ibrahim"( Abraham). That too was not convincing for me.
Please some one give me a proper reply. Im nor questioning your belief. Im just a muslim guy who is interested to know about hindu philosophies and mythologies. Thats why. -
Marfan, seems like no one here read the whole Ramayana to give a specific reference. It's not the main scripture for Gaudiya Vaishnavas. Personally I've read only Bala Khanda (for a research project) and there was nothing about this. The complete version: www.valmikiramayan.net

Krishna's and Rama's and Radha's physical height are not important. The depth of their Consciousness is.
But it is good that we are gossiping about them than about mundane beings. -

A TOMATO PLANT AS HIGH AS A 3-STORY

had to be greater in the past, in order to support the
huge life forms which then existed.

In the 1980s, a hammer found inside a rock stratum
was analysed by the Batelle Laboratories in
Columbus, Ohio, the same laboratory that analysed
moonstones.
The elemental analysis showed it to be 96.6 percent
iron, 0.74 percent sulphur, and 2.6 percent chlorine.
Physicists tell us that under today's atmospheric
conditions you cannot compound chlorine with metallic
iron. Yet here it is. Today, chlorine can be joined
with iron as solid metal only in two atmospheres of
oxygen pressure, and only in the absence of ultraviolet
radiation.
Of course, ultraviolet radiation would have been
filtered out by the protective canopy.
Research indications are that the pre-Flood atmosphere
is the only plausible explanation, for the forging of
this metallic artefact.
This gets intensely interesting.
